Similar to commercial sock yarn bases with nylon for strength and durability. This yarn has a beautiful sheen and softness to it which allows the colors to glow.

Yarns are hand dyed by me with professional acid dyes and are colorfast and lightfast. Although the hank has been carefully washed with unscented detergent and rinsed of all color, it is best to wash the finished item once by itself in case of any dye release.

This yarn is superwash and will not felt. It can be washed in the washing machine, but your item will last longer and look better if it is gently washed by hand and laid flat to dry.
